Development and validation of a dynamic model for a two-stage speed-reducer

This paper presents the development and validation of a six degree freedom (DOF) dynamic model two-stage parallel shaft gearbox, without flaws, which is able to determine reaction gearbox components varying torque inputs loads. The utilises flexible shafts gears rather than using rigid assumption, further understand effect mesh stiffness. replicates results presented by Diehl Tang, improves number frequencies that can be analysed. gear meshing were expected dominate result, however due use sinusoidal approximation tooth frequency, shows additional generated are present analysable in data.
